Who is Chris Downing?
Before becoming a Beachbody super trainer, Chris was an elite fitness professional. Chris holds the strong belief that you already have a greatness within you. That there's a mental way to tap into that greatness. This is how you'll reach your full potential — and achieve powerful results — with his new fitness program, the SHIFT SHOP.
Why is Chris so good at helping you make a real change? He has real-world experience training organised sports teams and pro athletes. This means his workouts and eating plans aren't just theories, they're based on experience. He's taken the training methods he's seen deliver the best results — no matter how much you weigh, your size, your age — and condensed them into something effective that you can do.
Chris Downing hails from the football mecca of Ohio in the heart of the midwest where he is a NASM certified personal trainer and an elite strength and conditioning coach for high school, college and professional athletes. As a former college athlete, Chris went on to play basketball at Cuyohoga Community College before transferring to play at Alfred University in New York.
The Shift Shop Meal Plan & Workout Breakdown
Each week is a new series of workouts, so just when you start to master the moves, the moves change so you get maximum results!
The workouts are a challenging 25 minutes and build a solid foundation for each movement. The meal plan focuses on a balanced amount of carbohydrates, lean protein and healthy fats.
As you get faster and stronger, the workouts move up to 35 minutes. The intensity gets upped as you work on endurance with both your cardio and strength. The meal plan shifts slightly, reducing the amount of starchy carbohydrates, while increasing the amount of lean proteins and more fibrous carbs (like veggies).
In the third week, the workouts get upped to 45 Minutes and the meal plan shifts more away from starchy carbs and increases even more lean proteins and veggies. You're body will lean out like you never imagined!
Once you are done the 3 weeks, there is a second 3 weeks calendar option that starts at a higher level and introduces 3 new workouts that are 5 minutes longer to keep you pushing yourself to new, unimaginable fitness levels!
Is there a Modifier in the Shift Shop?
Yes! There is a low impact modifier for every move.
When does this program come out?
The program will be available to all All Access On Demand instantly July 12th, 2017. You can also get it on DVD that day as well.
