Recharge


This is going to be short and sweet. I just think it's super important for your overall health and well-being to remember to take time out of your busy schedule to do whatever it is that helps you recharge. If you are running on empty and keep trying to work and strive for greatness, you will crash and burn. It's so easy to forget about yourself in the run of a day when so many other things seem to take precedence. We need to remember that without recharging, you will not function at 100% and you will be unable to fully commit to being the best you can be.

Take at least 10 mins a day to do what you love. Meditate, read a good book, take a walk, etc. Whatever you need to do to help you de-stress and recharge. If you take this small amount of time out of your day for you, it will help you exponentially in the long run. 10 mins is nothing. I read personal development books in the morning before going to work. I know, I know...I was never a believer in personal development either. I thought it was hokey, but it has helped me focus on what I want in life and being a better me when I've never done that before. I never cared enough about my well-being and that made me more pessimistic about life and sucked me into a more sedentary, blah life. Taking time out for me has helped me realize how important it is to make sure your mind and body are functioning as well as possible to help you succeed in whatever your goals in life are.

So take 10 mins a day and focus entirely on YOU! Give yourself 3 weeks of this and see how you feel and how you are performing (work, relationships, etc). I know you'll see a difference. I definitely did! You'll thank me later! ;)
